Participatory Budget returns
All residents of Washington Heights, Inwood and Marble Hill are invited to help decide how to spend $1 million of taxpayer money for community improvements to parks, schools, libraries, streets, and more. Join Councilmember Ydanis Rodríguez invites at an upcoming Participatory Budgeting info session and fund out how you can be a part of the experience. All info sessions will be held from 6:00 pm – 8:00 p.m. at the following locations:
- Thursday, August 27that the Cornerstone Church at 178 Bennett Avenue.
- Tuesday, September 1stat the Inwood Library at 4790 Broadway.
- Wednesday, September 9that the Marble Hill Houses at 5220 Broadway.
- Friday, September 18that J. Hood Wright Park in the Octagon Room at 174th Street and Ft. Washington Avenue.
- Monday, September 21stat the Dyckman Houses at 177 Nagle Avenue.
- Wednesday, September 30that the Richard M. Ruzika Theatre at the Campbell Sports Center at 218th Street and Broadway.
- Thursday, October 1st at the YM &YWHA located at 54 Nagle Avenue.
- Thursday, October 8th at the Washington Heights Library at 1000 St. Nicholas Avenue.
