Shout out once again to Lin-Manuel Miranda who is gracing the current cover of Complex Magazine together with Chance The Rapper. By the way, Chances latest album is out now. Trust me, you need that in your life. Celebrity chef Marcus Samuelsson penned an excellent piece on CNBC about how Harlem’s fried chicken and mac n’ cheese changed his life. The 2nd Annual Harlem Eat Up kicks off on Saturday, May 21st. Last year, former President Bill Clinton dropped in on the festivities.

Her name is Victoria Pannell and she is only 16. Remember her name because this young lady is going places. Angy Altamirano of Metro reported on the first-ever syringe drop-off box inside an NYC park. The Washington Heights CORNER Project (WHCP) — a harm reduction agency that aims to improve the quality of life and health of drug users, is behind the initiative.

You have until May 22nd to catch the latest production from the Up Theater Company, An American Drum Circle. Up Theater is cranking some outstanding theater right here in Uptown Manhattan, get your tickets ASAP. Do you need a little motivation in your life?
