The agency has made several presentations before the Community Board 12 Transportation Committee over the past several months. The DOT and the CB 12 Transportation Committee will now conduct a workshop focusing on the proposed targeted area on Dyckman Street between Broadway and Nagle Avenue. At this workshop, DOT will again show its proposal for traffic calming, pedestrian safety and bicycle network improvements to members of the community. After the presentation, there will be break out groups where residents will discuss the matter further and lend their suggestions to improve conditions along this stretch. This information will be collected by DOT and will be used in order to propose a more comprehensive plan for Dyckman Street in the near future. The workshop is scheduled for this Thurs., April 20th, at P.S. 5, located at 3703 10th Avenue, (at the corner of Dyckman Street and 10th Avenue/Harlem River Drive) from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. For more information, please call 212.568.8500.
