(WHICOA) acknowledges the death of WHICOA Board member David Johnson. David passed away unexpectedly on Thursday afternoon, September 1st, following a short illness. He had been the Executive Director of STAR Senior Center for the past 16 years and has been a member of WHICOA during all of that time. David had been a dedicated and caring member of the Executive Committee of the Board and has provided wise counsel and countless hours of service to WHICOA over these many years. He will be sorely missed. A memorial service will be held to honor the life of David Johnson on Saturday, September 10th. The details are as follows: Judson Memorial Church 55 Washington Square South New York, New York 10012 Saturday, September 10th – 10:00 a.m. STAR Senior Center plans to hold a memorial service for David the week of September 12th.
