Participatory Budget Vote for District 8
Residents of District 8 are being reminded to cast their Participatory Budgeting (PB) votes this weekend.
Participatory Budgeting allows residents of City Council districts to vote on the use of nearly $1 million in city funds within their district. All local residents 16 years of age and older are eligible to vote.
Ballots are available at SCAN LaGuardia, located at 307 E. 116th Street, from 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m.
The results of this year’s vote will be unveiled at a special celebration this Tue., Apr. 8th, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Johnson Center, located at 1833 Lexington Avenue. All are welcome to attend.
