Hudson View Gardens Arts Group seeks entries for show

The Hudson View Gardens Arts Group is calling for artists and craftspeople in northern Manhattan  (north of 125^th Street) and in the Bronx to submit entries for the group’s annual juried art show, now in its fourteenth year.

The entry deadline is Fri., Oct. 5^th and the show will be held on Sat., Nov. 10^th through Sat., Nov. 17^th.

The Art Show will be held in the Hudson View Gardens Lounge.

The jury considers work on all media except video, performance and installation.

High quality crafts are also considered.

Northern Manhattan’s “oldest art show,” as it is billed by organizers, will feature artists in traditional and new media. A broad range of paintings, photos, sculpture, assemblage, and prints by established and emerging artists, working traditionally and experimentally is exhibited and sold.

El Grupo de Arte Hudson View está llamando a los artistas y artesanos en el Norte de Manhattan (norte de la Calle 125) y el Bronx para someter aplicaciones para su espectáculo anual del grupo de arte, ahora en su año décimocuarto.

La fecha límite para las aplicaciones lo es el viernes, 5 de octubre y el espectáculo se llevará a cabo el sábado, 10 de noviembre hasta el sábado, 17 de noviembre.

El jurado considera trabajos en todos los medios excepto videos, interpretación e instalación.

También se consideran manualidades de alta calidad.

El “espectáculo de arte más viejo” del Norte de Manhattan, como dicen los organizadores, presentará artistas en medios tradicionales y nuevos. Una amplia variedad de pinturas, fotos, esculturas, ensamblaje y estampas por artistas establecidos y emergentes, los trabajos son exhibidos y vendidos.
