On Sat., Jan. 4^th, 2014, the NYC Department of Parks and Recreation welcomes Washington Heights families to celebrate the first ever “Snow Day” in Highbridge Park. Following the first snowstorm of the new year, kids and families will have the opportunity to participate in a number of organized snow activities such as sledding, making snow people, and snow angles. Parks will also provide sleds and hot chocolate to all who participate.
