“Pat the Bird” art installation at Margaret Corbin Circle

As created by Alison Loeb and Andrea Arroyo, the art installation “Pat the Bird” is an example of Senufo tourist art from West Africa.
Pat met tourists and locals at the Margaret Corbin Circle in Fort Tryon Park. They had their pictures taken with Pat and wrote wishes to hang around Pat’s beak.
More than 120 visitors participated in this NoMAA-sponsored event.
