Adulticide Spraying

On Tues., Aug. 16th, at 12:00 p.m., the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene announced it will be spraying adulticide to key mosquito breeding locations in residential areas of Manhattan on Wed., Aug. 17th, between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. the following morning, on Aug., 18th. Adulticide will be sprayed from a truck in parts of the following ZIP codes: 10032, 10033, 10034, 10039, 10040. Spraying is intended to reduce the number of mosquitoes and the risk of Zika and West Nile viruses.
