Resplendent in traditional cap and gown, Towns walked in the 47th Commencement Ceremony of Lehman College of the City University of New York (CUNY) this past Thurs., May 28th.

She received her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and was joined by her family and friends.

Though Towns is widely known for having spent nearly two decades overseeing the vast delivery, subscription, and maintenance required to deliver tens of thousands of these weekly bilingual newspapers throughout two boroughs, she has also served in management and administrative roles – and has been a prolific and important contributor to its pages with words and images.

In fact, the accomplished and talented photographer intends on pursuing the visual medium more avidly in the near future.

Felicidades, Landa.

Felicidades, Landa.
