Southbound entrance ramps to the parkway from West 125th Street to West 96th Street to be closed between 6 and 10 a.m. daily; motorists are advised to use alternate routes
As the New York City Department of Transportation (DOT) continues to address roadways across the five boroughs, crews will conduct subsurface repairs on a key portion of southbound Henry Hudson Parkway beginning tomorrow evening, providing a safer, smoother roadway for Manhattan drivers. Tomorrow evening, Saturday, June 14, the southbound right lane will be closed through 5 a.m., Tuesday, June 24. During this period, the southbound entrance ramps to the parkway between West 125th Street and West 96th Street will be closed between 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. daily, with traffic diverted to local streets. This partial closure will allow for a targeted subsurface work in an area requiring maintenance. During this project, NYPD traffic agents and DOT pedestrian safety mangers will be posted at key affected intersections. Motorists are urged to avoid the area if possible and use alternate routes.
