original. With a menu designed to complement its international

wine selection with cheeses, cured meats, brochettes

and paninis, it’s been a hit with the hospital lunch crowd. The

laid-back lounge environment with occasional live music allows

a single woman to come in alone and have a glass or a

meal and not feel on display. It’s also a great romantic nook

for a couple, where atmospheric lighting and mellow jazz set

the mood. Of course at In Vino Veritas it’s all about the wine.

Co-owner Elizabeth Arizaga works hard to curate an intriguing

selection in constant flux. With an emphasis on rare wines from

small boutique vineyards, you won’t find name brands here. At
