Heat brings noise to InwoodPosted by Editor in Untagged |

Residents turned out at the Community Board 12 General Meeting complaining of night time noise. Speeding cars, booming music and a general carnival atmosphere have dominated the recent warm nights. Residents called for more police, better enforcement and an end to the "mayhem," as many of the residents put it.
Last summer the so-called quality of life issues dominated town hall meetings and complaints to police. Community Board 12 ranks second in noise complaints to 311.
