The ancient Mayans and Aztecs of Mexico made books called “codex” out of tree bark and vellum to document their lives and history in pictures. Artist Felipe Galindo wants to make his own codex, by hand. Titled “Manhatitlan,” the book’s images will be about the Mexican experience of living in Manhattan. Read More
