Critter Outfitter will be having an old-fashioned yard sale to benefit the Washington Heights cat colony, better known as WaHi Cats.
The yard sale will be on Sat., Oct. 1st from 11 am to 6 pm on the sidewalk in front of Critter Outfitter at 210 Pinehurst Avenue on West 187th Street.
Local residents are encouraged to participate and “clean out their closets for a cause”
by bringing anything to sell.
The store will provide tables for set up and all items must be in clean, good condition, and already tagged and priced. Sellers will keep the profit and donate 10% of their sales to WaHi Cats that day.
The Washington Heights Cat Colony is a group of volunteers who feed, trap, and neuter and spay cats in the neighborhood and them put them up for adoption.
