Northern Manhattan’s very own radio show, “The Washington Heights and Inwood Radio Show,” started its new season off in high style, by inaugurating its bi-weekly broadcasts from the offices of The Manhattan Times located at 5030 Broadway in Inwood.

The first broadcast from the offices debuted this past Thurs. Aug 13th when radio hosts Carolina Pichardo and Claudio Cabrera came together to discuss local current events, news, and opinions with special guest Martin Collins, community liaison for Robert Jackson’s office.

The Washington Heights and Inwood Radio show has been broadcasting live on the Internet for the past six months from different locations in the neighborhood.

In addition, the ‘Bochinche Bueno’ [The Good Gossip] radio show was also broadcast from MT’s office, offering listeners a comedic hour of gossip, news, and current events in the City. The show, features as producer and host actor Michael Diaz, better known as Juan Bago, and comedians Jaime Fernandez and Rachel ‘Loca la Boca’ Strauss-Muniz as well. The next show will be in two weeks, and again, both shows will offer northern Manhattan uniquely local community commentary and comedy.
