Suspect in grisly attack on BMW owner dies in Florida shootout Print E-mail

The suspect who allegedly attacked a man and stuffed him into the trunk of his BMW before crashing on Dyckman Street was killed in a shootout with U.S. Marshals in Florida on Fri., Feb. 11.

The New York Post broke the news that Barrion Blake died during a gunfight at an apartment complex in Jacksonville.

Blake had been on the run since last month when Akeem Ajimotokan, a Columbia University lawyer, was found in the trunk of his car after Blake allegedly crashed into a livery cab near the Dyckman Houses where he lived.

At last report, Ajimotokan – who appeared to have been beaten, stabbed, and left in the trunk overnight – remains in a coma.
