Having been removed from the Archdiocese of New York’s list of schools slated for closure, Good Shepherd Catholic School in Inwood has begun a recruitment drive to increase its student population.
Good Shepherd will stage open houses on the upcoming dates: Sun., Jan. 30 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Thu., Feb. 3 from 8:30-11:30 a.m., 1-2:30 p.m. and 5-7:30 p.m.; and Thu., Feb. 24 from 8:30 a.m.- noon, 1-2:30 p.m., and 5-7:30 p.m.
Applications are being accepted for new students entering grades Pre-K to 7.
The school offers computer and science labs, art and music classes, physical education, and after-school programs until 6:30 p.m. Financial assistance is available.
