Dean Bobbie Berkowitz, Columbia University School of Nursing, and the Columbia University Medical Center for Student Wellness are hosting an open discussion on the Institute of Medicine Report about the health of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people.

The event titled, “The Health of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender people: Building a Foundation for Better Understanding” will be presented by Professor Walter Bockting, PhD, and Judith Bradford, PhD.

The event is open to the public and will be held on Thurs., Oct. 27th from 12:30 to 2:30 pm at the Physicians & Surgeons Alumni Auditorium located at 650 West 168th Street, on the 1st floor.

Bobbie Berkowitz, la Escuela de Enfermería de la Universidad Columbia y el Centro Médico de la Universidad Columbia para Bienestar del Estudiante están auspiciando una discusión abierta del Reporte del Instituto Médico acerca de la salud de las personas lesbianas, homosexuales, bisexuales y transexuales.
