Just after the Fourth of July holiday, and only a week after the city’s budget has been completed, City Council Member Robert Jackson will hold two town hall meetings in cooperation with several other Northern Manhattan elected officials.

The meetings will highlight both the city’s and state’s fiscal budgets, as well as any issues residents bring to the table.

The first meeting is scheduled for Wed., July 6 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Russ Berrie Medical Pavilion, 1150 St. Nicholas Ave. at W. 168th Street.

The next night, Thu., July 7 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., a meeting is scheduled at Convent venue Baptist Church, 420 W. 145th Street at Convent Avenue.

Both meetings are co-sponsored by City Council Member Ydanis Rodriguez; Assembly Members Denny Farrell, Keith Wright, and Guillermo Linares; and State Senators Bill Perkins and Senator Adriano Espaillat.
