Nelson Denis, a former state Assembly member for East Harlem, is apparently running to succeed Northern Manhattan Assembly Member Adriano Espaillat. But you wouldn’t know it from his website. The main image on the homepage of www.denisforstateassembly.org is of a famous New York bridge – the Brooklyn Bridge. The “local politics” tab is a rundown of what various elected seats are, but nothing about Washington Heights and Inwood. Even the money doesn’t stay local – the address to send campaign donations is 120 Broadway, an address on the corner of Wall Street.

Attempts to contact Mr. Denis about his site were not successful.
