To the Editor:
This letter is written in response to the article published on May 18, 2010, titled “Would You Buy into This Family” regarding Academy Twins Condominium.
Please note the Mr. David Shargani is not a member of the Board of the Mangers. Mr. Shargani was never elected on to the Board by a majority of unit owners during an annual meeting, nor officially voted on to the Board by members to replace a vacant position.
Veritas Management was not fired from managing the condo. Mr. Shargani is not a legitimate Board Member nor does he have any authorization to make any business decisions on behalf of the condo.
Although his desire to fire Veritas Management and hire his friend Andrew Shell is widely understood by most of the owners, his desire and claims alone does not make it a valid action.
In addition, the condo is not $40,000 in debt; this is another false claim made by Mr. Shargani. Lastly, to note, Mr. Shargani’s proclaimed board currently consists of only 4 individuals (there’s supposed to be 9), and he has brought suit in attempts to remove 5 legitimate members from the board.
