In the Heights star and creator Lin-Manuel Miranda, son of Manhattan Times Publisher Luis Miranda, is a married man.

Miranda who played Usnavi in the 2009 Tony Award-winning musical and theatrically pined for love interest Vanessa married another Vanessa, Vanessa Nadal at a private ceremony in Rhinebeck, NY over the Labor Day weekend.

To surprise his new wife during the reception Miranda popped-in on the father-of-the-bride speech to kick off a choreographed version of Bock and Harnick’s “To Life,” from Fiddler on the Roof that involved members of the wedding party.

Miranda is reprising his role as Usnavi in a film version of In the Heights currently in production.
